Nobody likes to read huge amounts of legalese and Karusoma especially prefers things to be simple, fun and hassle-free. But some things just have to be put up here in writing, so here we go.
When reading the boring stuff below, Ville would like you to remember, that everything he does under the Karusoma banner is done in good faith and with the intension of bringing fun and joy into people’s lives. If anything goes wrong with your art purchase, Ville will try to fix things in the best way possible.
General
Karusoma Oy, business-ID 2464825-8, (later Karusoma) sells products to companies and private persons over the age of 18. All prices shown include VAT and they apply only to the webstore. Karusoma reserves the right to price and delivery cost changes.

Ordering
The buyer orders the products by placing products in the shopping basket and paying for them through the payment service. By placing an order the buyer approves these terms, the prices and the possible delivery costs. When ordering the buyer must provide a working email address, to which an order confirmation can be sent. Ordered products and prices are listed in the order confirmation.
Payments
Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) acts as an implementer of the payment handling service and as a Payment Service Provider in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. In payments made with credit cards Paytrail Oyj will be shown as the recipient in the invoice and Paytrail Oyj will forward the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj is an authorized Payment Institution.

Delivery methods, times and costs
Karusoma delivers worldwide. In Finland, the deliveries take approximately five (5) business day to arrive. The delivery is handled either by a professional courier or by a representative of Karusoma personally. The delivery costs for each painting are shown in the webstore.
Outside Finland, the deliveries take approximately 1-2 weeks to arrive. The delivery is handled by a professional courier. The delivery costs vary by destination.
Please note that the buyer is responsible for local taxes, customs duty and other comparable costs that may be charged in your destination.
Exchange and returns
All goods have a 14 day exchange or return right within the EU and in the Nordic countries that are not EU members. This right only applies to goods that are unused and re-sellable. You must cancel your order by contacting Karusoma, not fetching your order or just returning it do not qualify for a refund.
The buyer is always responsible for the return costs, unless a mistake has been made on Karusoma’s part. In this case, the return costs will be refunded after the return has been accepted, but only up to the original delivery costs.

No returns or refunds are offered on Gift Card packages.
Damages and lost items
Always check your package carefully after you have fetched it. If your package is damaged, take a picture of it before opening it. Then also take a picture of the damaged artwork. Send all the pictures to ville@karusoma.com within 14 days of receiving the package. Ville will then respond promptly and the issue will be resolved.
If your package seems to have been lost, contact Karusoma to resolve the issue.
Prices and mistakes in pricing
The prices in the webstore can change at any time without prior notice. Karusoma reserves the right to cancel an order in the case of a pricing mistake. This refers to a case when there is a clear and obvious mistake in the price of an item in the webstore. An obvious pricing mistake would appear if a painting was priced at 0,00 euros or 25,00 euros. A customer should notice and understand when a pricing mistake has been made.
Force majeure
Karusoma is not responsible for delays or damages caused by events outside of its control. These events, which were unforeseeable and unavoidable, might include sickness, strikes, changes in the export or import legislation and/or problems in transportation.
Colors
Karusoma cannot guarantee that the colors appearing in the webstore reflect the artworks’ colors in reality. The colors can be reflected in different ways depending on, for example, your computer or phone screen, graphics card and the computer settings.
Customer messages and privacy policy
By approving these terms and conditions the customer accepts the messages they will receive related to handling the order and approves to have their personal information handled according to Karusoma’s privacy policy.
